The Reelmaster® 5010-H is the industry's first and only fairway mower with a true hybrid power system. The Reelmaster 5010-H has a Kubota 24.8 horsepower diesel engine and in-line engine-generator plus a 48-volt self-recharging battery pack to provide uninterrupted power to the vehicle and cutting units.
Together, these two power sources form Toro's patented hybrid power system called PowerMatch™. The PowerMatch system allows the Reelmaster 5010-H to match the power generated to the power required for all possible mowing conditions. The result is over 40 horsepower available, but only when mowing conditions require it, saving an average of 20% fuel and improving the vehicle's operating costs and carbon footprint.
By removing the hydraulic cutting units and replacing them with electric motors on the Reelmaster 5010-H, the number of leak points has been reduced by over 100 compared to a conventional 254 cm fairway mower. The remaining vehicle and cutting unit hydraulic lines are predominantly hard lines or hoses with limited movement that are not subject to the same fatigue or maintenance intervals as the cutting unit hoses and motors.
The Reelmaster 5010-H has a plug-and-play function. Simply plug in the cutting unit and motors of your choice and the machine will automatically make all the necessary settings and adjustments.
The Reelmaster 5010-H's InfoCenter display makes maintenance and diagnostics quicker and easier for technicians. The integrated LCD display shows easy-to-read and understand system information and alarms, maintenance reminders, error codes and vehicle and cutting unit settings. Precisely control spindle speed and cutting rate, monitor spindle performance and view spindle diagnostics with the integrated InfoCenter.
